Music Download- The Disco Fries "Party On"

Since the weather went cuckoo and decided to be warm this week in February, it had me looking forward to partying in the Spring and Summer. So, what better way to get your mind set for partying with a song called "Party On" produced by the Disco Fries featuring Honorebel. Honestly this makes me think of summer and want to party....and dance. I never say I want to dance, ever. So girls shake your booties and guys seal the deal.

I know today is a Friday and I plan on partying hard, so maybe this can help you while you pregame or be part of your mix for the evening. PARTY ON, GARTH...um wait That's Wayne's World and is not in the song. It should be. HA!

Album: Twelve Jazzy, Housey, Lounge Jointz

If you guys have listened to Raw Radio, you would have heard of one of the hosts was Larry "Il Lusciato" Krayn. Some may not know that he is a musical artist from New Jersey. Maybe you'll be shock he usually releases hip hop albums, but that is not what he only creates. He has always produced jazz influenced beats and he decided to take it a bit further. This is an instrumental album that he always wanted to do and worked on it on and off from 2004. There are no samples only original instrumentation.

Larry had to say this about his album, "I believe any true musician should start expanding and showcasing different styles and genre's. This type of experimental/electro-jazz music is something I've always enjoyed doing and I'm glad that the final collection has become so widely available."
Now we both know that this isn't going to be everybody's cup of tea, but I think you can appreciate the creativity and originality. I spoke to Larry yesterday and we both agreed that an artist should always continue to grow. So you can purchase this album at iTunes for $10 or grab a song that you like for $0.99. It's good that iTunes has long previews, just in case you are unsure about the music, but I like the music.  Listen/Buy here: View In iTunes
Larry "Il Lusciato" is a Branded Baron supporter and has a couple of shirts and sweatshirts.

The Disco Fries "60 Minutes Until Your Balls Drop" Mixtape

On January 1st, I posted a link for a New Year's song and it seems now I'm completing that circle with this end of the year mixtape. The Disco Fries have released their latest mixtape "60 Minutes Until Your Balls Drop". I know. I know. It is a funny title, but what's not funny is the music they put out. The music that this duo puts out is very entertaining. Matter of fact, as I'm typing this blog entry I am listening to this mixtape. If you listen to this at 11:00 pm tonight it will count you down to the ball drop at midnight. You can challenge that claim now if you want, but why would they lie about that. It's pretty cool. So if you're in charge of the music and don't feel like putting in work, play this.

I still remember meeting DJ Piklz at a Qn5 show a couple years ago and it's good to see the progress he's made with his music. He and Danny Danger are killing it and I look forward to the music that they'll putting out next year. Also, expect to see them wearing Branded Baron too.

Clinton Sparks ft. Mike Posner and Big Sean - Ambiguous (Disco Fries Remix) Dirty by DiscoFriesMusic

Now you've heard their production in the beginning of the Branded Baron Photo Shoot Behind the Scenes, but I had to bring you the music from DJ Piklz & Danny Danger once again. I've been following DJ Piklz since he was running 98 Proof, which was predominantly a hip hop label, but I knew he had these electronic dance beats. Since these two formed, the music they've made is hot and on point.

Taken from their site discofriesmusic.com
"Since landing their first commissioned remix in 2009 with Flo Rida’s “Sugar”, the two have been asked to add their signature sound to remixes of Usher, Estelle, Selena Gomez, Nelly Furtado, Ida Corr, and many others. Meanwhile, the duo continues to collaborate with 2 time Grammy Award winner Fatman Scoop, and in the months to come have releases planned with DJ Class (of “I’m the Ish” fame), Honorebel, and Jeremy Carr (of Deep at Night)." You can read the rest of their bio on their site, but they produce quality music.

Check out them out. Yes, I know what you're saying they should be at the clubs rocking Branded Baron tees, because Djs and producers are attracted to the different stunningly fresh tees that we have. Who knows what will happen?

Listen to their podcast on iTunes or remixes on their SoundCloud page like the "Ambiguous" song.

P.S.  The song they did with DJ Class is one of my favorites, especially on a night when you're going to go party. DJ Class- Party Crackin' Part 2 (I prefer the track without Nablidon. He's cool, but my personal preference is without it)

The BEAT GEEKS - NEW Sponsored Music Group

I'm proud to bring to you the newest music group to represent Branded Baron, THE BEAT GEEKS. Yes, I know the name is funny, but I'm telling you the music is good. If you like to party, I suggest you throw the music by the Beat Geeks on and shake what your momma gave ya. There style is a blend of electronic dance fused with some hip hop, r&b, and rock. There single "Sweat" is getting rotation on the airways all over the east coast and in some places overseas. I've personally had the song on repeat on my ipod. You can purchase the song "Sweat" on iTune(CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD) Trust me, listen to it over and over and watch this fun song grow on you. I'm telling you for $.99 cents it's worth listening to. When I think Atlanta, I don't think dance music, but wow the beat geeks have a very stunningly fresh sound. You can listen to more of them at http://www.thebeatgeeks.com or http://www.myspace.com/beatgeeksmusic

They'll be having a photoshoot live on ustream soon of them rocking the Branded Baron shirts. I think Jay Wise and The Beat Geeks would come up with some great tracks. Definitely check out The Beat Geeks, you'll be hearing more of them soon. THE BEAT GEEKS.
