F-ing Awesome Music video by Jay Wise
What's going on?! I want to share this awesome music video with you all. The homie Jay Wise worked on this song and had a cool music video that compliments his style very well. Here's a little tidbit, the "F-ing Awesome" tees you see were printed by Branded Baron. Due to all the "f bombs" this song isn't suitable for work, so I wouldn't blast it. Enjoy.

Branded Baron Summer photoshoot behind the scenes
Oh yea! New stuff indeed! Here's a little video of what occurred at the photo shoot for this latest release. It has a lot of character with it's randomness and the posing. When I have photo shoots, they need to be fun and I think this one probably had a ton of jokes and funny stories that made the pictures come out great. From the minute we were all in the same car heading to a location to shoot to afterwards where we had some delicious pizza, it was good times. The photos you see in the video and the ones you see for sale are only a couple of a bunch that were taken. This release is more of cool fun side compared to my last Branded Baron release which had a bit of a darker tone. It's summer and we need to have a great time more than ever since the weather is so nice. I'd like to thank Jay Wise and Josh Craig for posing and Mister Lee Digital for consistently killing the photos that he takes. Take a look at the video and spread it around along with the link to where you can buy the new shirts.

Allen E "Stellar Living" Music Video
The homie Allen E released a small little video for what is his "single" for his new project. The song is cool, but I'm not sure about a single, but maybe because I'm thinking of commercial music which isn't fair for someone who's putting in work to create art. Either way this is a taste of what's to come, so check it out, because you may like it.

Jay Wise feat. Chaos - Higher Music Video
Check out this awesome new Jay Wise music video featuring his partner in rhyme Chaos. I personally think this is probably his best or one of his best music videos. It's also a pretty cool song and not your typical hip hop song. Watch it and you can see a couple Branded Baron tees being worn in the video too.

Tana feat. Baiyu "Live in the past"
Here's a song for you all to listen and download by Tana. The beat has a chill, soul, reminisce feel to it and maybe that's why the song is called "Live in the past." The chorus is done by Baiyu and she definitely holds it down when Tana finishes doing his thing. I say listen to it, because you may just vibe to this. I'm not sure when Tana's project is going to be released, but I'm sure I'll let you know, but follow him on twitter at http://twitter.com/#!/followmetana

Corp Cartel - "Do You Want Me" Music Video
Happy Friday! I have a wonderful treat for you and it is the music video of the Corp Cartel's song "Do You Want Me". Now if you have been a Branded Baron supporter for awhile, you would know that I was at this video shoot that happened back in February 2010. Why is it released now? Well there are various rumors flying around like Jay-Z caught whim of this video and wanted to wait until it was the right time before he cosigned the Corp Cartel to they were trying to release it as a 3D video. Either or, the point is, the video is out! You can see Branded Baron apparel in the video and you can see myself in it as well alongside Allen Ez and Tony Bregga and everyone else.
Honestly, I always thought this was one of their strong songs and is a fun song. I personally like how it came out and think it look stunningly fresh. If you want to see the behind the scenes you can view the First Part here and the second part here.
You can check them out on their sites www.corpboyz.com www.jaywisemusic.com

Making of "Welcome Home" & "That Pole" while wearing Branded Baron
Check out the preview of another couple of songs by Jay Wise for his summer release "The Wake Up Call". In the video you'll see Jay rocking the Statue of Liberty tee. I'm definitely feeling the first song, that beat is on point. Look forward that this summer, but in the mean time purchase a Branded Baron tee for your stunningly fresh needs.

Music Monday: Sneaker Freestyle by Jay Wise
Here's a verse by Jay Wise. I know the title says freestyle, but it's not a freestyle, it's written. I'm not saying Jay can't do it, but it's not. It's dope regardless.

Recording Session with Jay Wise, Daniel Joseph & MORE
Last night was a good musical evening. Jay Wise was in the studio recording for his next music endeavor, "The Wake Up Call" with artists Daniel Joseph, Reynos, M. Class, Young Tana, and Politiks. Let me say it was packed in a small room and I don't think any of the other rooms at the studio was any larger. It was great to say all these guys just vibe off each other and create something hot. I arrived with Daniel Joseph while they were working on the next club hit. This party song is ridiculously hot. Yes, it's REEEDUNKULOUS. Then the next songs to have verses added were "Grown Up Fresh"(view previous post) and this one serious song. Daniel Joseph wasn't suppose to be on the "Grown up fresh", but he told Jay he had a verse for it and BOOM he's on it now. The video catches some of the recording shenanigans and you get to hear what's there. Chatting it up with everyone was cool and Reynos had some funny stories. He was telling how a guy driving a van "Jesus Loves You" in bold red letter across it wanted to sign him. It turned out to be a priest, but no one knew who he was at first. The way he told it was hysterical. "Who hits a priest? lol Young Tana left early, because he was keeping it stunningly fresh with this girl. He records a party song and then goes parties. That's real. Of course Jay Wise was rocking a Branded Baron tee and Daniel Joseph was wearing the Branded Baron pin. Check it out.

"Soul Exchange Live" Show Recap
What's going on everyone?! I hope you're enjoying yourself, especially since it's the summer. I should've posted it right after, but last week Jay Wise and myself were invited to appear on the internet radio show "Soul Exchange Live" on Inthemixxradio.com The show was recorded just in case you missed the livestream feed that Tuesday and there are the youtube videos below. If you want to read my experience and thoughts about the show then continue on this literal journey.
Like I stated earlier, I was invited as well as the rest of the Branded Baron crew to come on the show after meeting DJ Brown Boi and DJ Lady Essence at the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival. Unfortunately the others who are in charge such as Anthony and Danette could not make it. I asked if I could bring Jay Wise along, since I knew it was a hip hop show and thought it would be more exposure and he's a big supporter of Branded Baron. The okay was given and I was excited for the show.
I picked up Jay Wise and drove to the Inthemixxradio.com station which was in Mt. Vernon, New York. I think so, but that is besides the point. On the way there I was listening to all the newest material that Jay Wise recorded either with his group the Corp Cartel or his solo songs. Let me tell you, that the songs are hoooot. His "Pre-fresh Volume 1.5" mixtape is being released sometime next week on the net and the "Pre-Fresh 2" will be released shortly after it. He gets better every time he records and all honesty he should be signed and played on heavy rotation.
We arrive at the station, but I wouldn't have known it, because it looked like an abandoned office building on the outside. DJ Brown Boi came downstairs to open up the door and BOOM! Guess what he was wearing? If you guessed a winer bubble jacket, you're wrong. He was rocking the black Listen To Your Heart t-shirt He brought us upstairs to the station where I saw Lady Essence rocking the aqua Listen to your heart female t-shirt. I was introduced to Mike Thompson who was the other radio personality in this Soul Exchange trio. There was this big banner with a bunch of autographs in the hallway and one in the room. There were a bunch of cameras and I expected that being that it was going to be livestream show. We arrived quite early, so everyone was setting up. I know Jay Wise and I were tweeting about the show all night. He tweeted a lot, because everytime he would talk about it the Branded Baron account would be one of the couple that directed the message to.
Once the show started it was cool and we were vibing out to what was being talked about and played. The first person to play music was DJ Brown Boi and his set had a good selection of songs. If you saw me during that time, you would've seen me just acting like a fool. I thought, "I'm going to enjoy myself and if I like song, I'm going to vibe to it" and if the show was visible to those tuning in, then I'm going to have you make you wonder what is going on. After DJ Brown Boi played his set we got to business. Mike started to interview me and we got to talk about Branded Baron. I definitely joked around a lot during the interview, but I made sure I answered the questions. Jay Wise definitely helped me out too. We definitely had poked some fun at the expense of Myspace, made sure that you have to keep it "Stunningly Fresh", talking about Nike giving us endorsement checks and other various topics. Let be clear again, because I being texted and people were tweeting to me, I am not getting married. I don't know how that was brought up, I was only joking with Mike who is getting married pretty damn soon.(Congrats, Mike) When you watch the video, I didn't formally introduce him, because I was trying to find the best time to introduce him to those tuning in. It worked out, because like expected he was interviewed and they played the Corp Cartel's "Do You Want Me"(Listen and/or Download Here) That's probably one of my favorite songs and I'm glad Brown Boi chose to play that one, because Jay nor I knew which song they were going to play.
After the song was complete there was some more fun conversation and DJ Lady Essence did her thing! It's really cool when Djs rock your shirt while spinning, whether it's at a club or in a radio station, it's just cool. Again thanks for the support from all the DJs out there rocking Branded Baron. Jay and I thought it'd be cool just to stay for the rest of the show and everyone was cool with it. There was some pizza, so we ate some and drank some refreshing water. They interviewed another rapper Mr. Low, who interrupted my interview which was on a high note. Pun intended. lol He seemed like a good dude and he had some good songs. He has a performance with Faith Hill in the Bronx coming up. You can check out his fan page at http://www.facebook.com/BxMrLow At one point I engaged in the conversation here and there, since I was by a microphone. I was checking the chat and speaking with everyone who was on there and watching the show.
What was great was the verses being kicked by Jay Wise and Mr. Low. Yea for some reason everyone thought I was going to rap, but I didn't. I PROMISE I'll do it next time I'm on there. It's always entertaining to here the skills from the emcees on the spot.
The show ended well and if you watched you heard me say the discount code that you can use. We took photos and signed the banner before heading out. I have to say that I had fun and it's a show you should check out on Tuesday nights when you get a chance. I was listening to it this past Tuesday, it messed with me watching Wipeout, but luckily tv has a mute button. They're cool and stunningly fresh people and I would like to be on it sometime in the future. Definitely go to inthemixxradio.com on Tuesdays from 9-11pm.

Joe

Rockland World Radio Interview & Performance

The station was in Nyack, so we went there, Jay was rocking the red Astrohop, Bregga was rocking the White Lion shirt(Click here to purchase)
, and Allen EZ was rocking the new Space Can tee. We were introduced to the radio host, Madame Sassy and then the interviewing began after the break she had. I was interviewed first, before the rest of the guys and you get to hear some of the background of Branded Baron. I didn't realize it was a video broadcast, so I was describing my shirt when all I could've done was just look in the direction of the camera. For some reason I didn't put two an
d two together when Jay told me he was going to perform on this internet show.
After I was interviewed Madame Sassy interviewed everyone else, except for Allen EZ for some reason. I don't know why he didn't go up to get interviewed, but I believe he's going back to interview this month. The Corp Cartel performed and it was ok. I have to keep it real, because I've seen them perform a hell of a lot better. Also, the station manager came in and fixed the mics while they were performing. Luckily they've been performing for a long time and knew to keep going. They performed their new song "On Deck" and Jay performed his song "Don't Be Scared"( Watch on Youtube . Bregga didn't get a chance to perform, because of time constraints. I believe he and Allen will both go back this month to perform.
Overall, it was cool and I enjoy being interviewed. I personally enjoy reading or listening or watching interviews from other upcoming brands or artists. I feel as though it's inspiring. You can check out the Madame Sassy show that we were on just in case you missed it or missed my twitter announcement then in the archives. Click here for Archives It's the show with no description. You can check out the video interview directly CLICK HERE TO WATCH The interviews don't start until 9:36 into the show. You can listen to the music that was played beforehand or you can jump ahead. So enjoy the interviews and performance when we were on Rockland World Radio. Thanks Madame Sassy for having us on.

Joe

Music Monday-Corp Cartel "On Deck"

Another music monday with a party song by the Corp Cartel. It's definitely a drink up and have a good time partying type of song. You can preview the song before downloading, but if you're at work there's some vulgarity that you may want to lower the volume or wait until you're at home.

Fresh Quito Magazine Fashion Show Recap
Last Thursday there Tony Bregga, the founder of the soon to be released Fresh Quito Magazine had a fashion show and also a birthday party at a penthouse in Manhattan. It was cool and classy. The memo was wear all black, because he was going to stand out wearing all white. So Danette and I ignored that memo and stood out with style like the way anyone wearing or repping Branded Baron should. I was called and asked to participate and it was exciting, even though it was really last minute. I was told beforehand what the sizes the models would be wearing, but obviously I should have listened to my gut. The sizes I was told were for big models and not thin models, so I brought them, but luckily I had some sizes for the thinner models. I'd like to thank Jules for modeling and Eddie as well. You see Jules rocking the Love Gambles All shirt(a href="http://www.brandedbaron.com/product/love-gambles-all-ma-e">Click here to purchase). While the models were being sized up behind the scenes, I did meet some cool people. I like to shout out Yassa of Klusive and I look forward to working on a collaboration in the future.
Danette and I were chillin waiting for this event to start, because it was running behind. At one point there was a blank sheet of paper and she drew a dinosaur, bones of a dinosaur, and a hippo. I knew the Corp Cartel were going to be there, so once they arrived we chilled with them for a bit. I did get footage of Jay Wise, Chaos, and Tana kicking new verses, but unfortunately the lighting inside was bad, so I'm not going to upload. At least there were pictures taken of us on the rooftop with the Empire State Building behind us. No one told us when we were going to start, so when we found out we had to rush right into it. It went well, but sadly no pictures were taken of models on the runway. The hostess wasn't sure when we were going to start, but at least we showcased for them. Overall it was cool and I like to thank Bregga and Fresh Quito, just I think a heads up beforehand on everything would be better, but you'll see Branded Baron the magazine is released on the east coast.
Stay No Less Than Stunningly Fresh,
Joe
