Vote Branded Baron in the Karmaloop Kazbah Battle

Hey everyone! I recently entered Branded Baron t-shirts on Karmaloop's Facebook contest where up and coming brands get a chance to sell in their independent section the Kazbah store. Karmaloop.com is huge in streetwear/urban apparel. It's definitely a great online retailer site to be on and this can be another helpful step in expanding Branded Baron. All you have to do is click on vote on any or all 5 designs that are up in the running. It only takes 1 design to be in the top 10 in order to be chosen to sell on Karmaloop Kazbah.

If you like what Branded Baron is doing and the designs being put out and like to help expand, I'd greatly appreciate your vote. Below are the links to the shirts that are on the voting block. You can click on the other images which will load to a new page where you can vote as well. Tell your friends, family, coworkers, teammates, whoever to vote for Branded Baron.

Mosaic Skate Shop Gallery in the Bronx holds Branded Baron

I'm proud to announce that Branded Baron is now stocked in the Bronx. You can check out Mosaic Skate Shop Gallery for all you skateboarding needs and apparel. What's really cool about this place, is that it has art hanging around the wall. Every month there is an art event and the exhibits range from paintings to photography. If you wondering why "gallery" was in the store's name, that is why. I personally think it is really cool to also promote the arts. I know they're planning a new art event at the end of July, will have a some sort of water balloon fight sometime soon, and their one year anniversary is coming up in August.

I originally knew about this store through another brand and I have to thank boy Chi for taking me, so I can meet with the owner Wilfredo in person. He's a cool guy and he's helping get a nice skate park built a couple blocks away from the store, which is great. It's great, because there's so many skaters in the area and the closest skate park is downtown. I applaud him to helping give back to the community. He also has some limited edition art prints to raise money for the Japan Relief Fund, because I don't know if you forgot, but it's still bad over there. Mosaic is a big win, skateboarding + stunningly fresh apparel + art + film + giving back to the community and world = awesome.

(Wilfredo hanging up the Statue of Liberty tanks)

I've been to this store a couple times and once I was able to get Branded Baron into the store it felt really good. I was really excited yesterday when I delivered the custom colorway tank tops to them. Yes! That's right, they have exclusive Statue of Liberty Gangsta tank tops in a heather gray colorway. There will be this design on a white tank, but if you really like THAT colorway you have to go to Mosaic. That is extremely exclusive and there are a very limited amount.

Overall, I'm very happy to add another retailer to the list of Branded Baron stockists and I'm very happy it's Mosaic. It's a very cool place and I look forward to coming through there to the events and w/ new goodies.

Stickers! You can see the Branded Baron sticker on it!

When you walk into the store you are welcomed by this fine gentleman.

Get your skate stuff!

This was picture of the tank after being printed. I used water base ink, so the print is soft.

Justina's "Hard to the body" music video

This is a video from New Jersey native recording artist Justina. I've followed her music for a bit and she has a style that is cool. If I had to describe her music it would be an edgy hip pop sound, if that makes any sense. Watch the video, you'll get an idea what I mean or at least you can listen to her song "Go F*ck Yaself" to prove my point. Anyway, I just wanted to show some love and share this video. If you like follow here on twitter at http://twitter.com/justinamusic or watch her videos on youtube or buy her tracks at http://myworld.marketamerica.com/Justina/. The best bet to find more on her is to go to her site http://www.JustinaMusic.com/.

Underground Skate Shop NOW SELLS Branded Baron!

One of my goals for this year was to get into more stores and Underground Skate Shop is the latest store to now have Branded Baron in stock. This is a very cool spot, because it has a huge choice of skate decks as well clothes, plus there's a nice flat screen tv to chill and play some video games. The owner, Mark is a good dude and he'll definitely be there help you out if you need it. If you ever just chill at any store and chat it up, everyone always has a story or two. Mark may be a badass skater, but he also was killer dj and still designs turntable parts. How many people skate and dj?

Anyway you can pick up some t-shirts, crewnecks, and stickers at Underground Skate Shop.

Skateboarding + Branded Baron

Early evening yesterday I went to the skate park in West New York with the crew from Urban Legends Shop. Blis, one of the workers and former pro-boarder, and I have been talking about doing a small photo shoot for awhile and finally we were able to do one. It's good that the skate park is conveniently up the block from the store. I gave out a bunch of stickers to everyone that was there. BOOM, they were slapped on the skateboards. I had my board, but I was really there to get shots of Blis doing tricks wearing Branded Baron. I had him wear some of the new stuff and he threw on the Stunningly Fresh longsleeve, since he always loved that design. Shane Marques took my camera and took the pictures, although I know he would rather have his camera, but he used my camera better than I would have.  I'll add upload video in the next day or two. Check out the photos.

M&L Skateramp Demo cancelled

I found out a couple minutes ago that this event will be cancelled this Sunday. Hopefully Wayne Township changes their minds. Kids need a spot to skate at and this is a good day for them to do so. It's better than them skating on private properties where they're not allowed to, if that's a concern. Maybe they'll be plans for a skate park there.

This weekend Craftacular & M&L Skate Demo 9/25 &9/26

This weekend Branded Baron will be at two different events, The Bust Magazine's Craftacular and the M & L Skate Demo. Two different entirely different events, but two worth checking out. Each event are two days, but I will be representing the double B's one day at each.

Again Branded Baron's booth will be there only Saturday the 25th. Also, you will see that Branded Baron will be sharing the booth with Bluu Dreams. Founder of Bluu Dreams, Anderson Munro is cool people and I thought we can bounce ideas off each other and help each other out, especially at an event like this. You need to collaborate and build with like minded people.

On Sunday, September 26th, I will be at the M&L Custom Ramps Skate Demo out in Wayne, New Jersey. M&L is a company that creates custom skate ramps and what a great way for this company to gain more exposure by having a skate competition. You won't see doing kick flips, especially since it's been a long time since I've been on a board. Maybe I'll bring my board on Sunday, but I'm definitely there to support  the local skate scene. There will be two competitions on each day and the winners for each day will win prizes. Even though Branded Baron will not be there on Saturday, the winner will have Branded Baron included with the rest of the prizes. So to all you skaters out there, come out. Branded Baron shirts and hoodies will be on sale too. I'm definitely looking forward to this event and recording the competition.

Location: Hot Dog Hut Parking Lot
126 Mountainview Blvd.
Wayne, NJ

Contest starts @ Noon
Register and practice 10a.m.-11a.m.

Urban Legends Shop in West New York, NJ has Branded Baron apparel

Happy Monday, Everyone! I know everyone's not a fan of Monday, but hopefully it'll be all good. If you saw the Branded Baron facebook and/or twitter the other day, you would've noticed that Branded Baron apparel can be bought at Urban Legends Shop in West New York, NJ. It's a really cool skate shop. They have apparel, custom skate decks, trucks, wheels, stickers, sneakers, and more at the store. Also, if you have a son, daughter, niece, nephew, or anyone interested in learning how to skateboard and do tricks, you can go there and book a lesson with Blis, their skate pro. He'll take you to the skatepark that's down the block. The owner, Rob, is a cool guy and so is Blis, so you can stop by and chill there for a bit. It definitely has a nice feel when you enter, with the brightly painted walls, graffiti painted canvases, a clean look with some fresh gear. It's definitely a cool urban boutique and you should check it out if you're in the area.

The address is:
