Photo of the day: Classic "To Live is to fight" tee+Yankees cap at Fenway Park

I will be posting a recap of this past weekend, because I went to Boston. It was my first time in Boston and won't be my last and I went with Anthony(Branded Baron v.p.), his girl, and sister-in-law, and Tiff. In a nutshell we went for the UFC Fan Expo and saw the fight at a bar across the street from Fenway Park. Being that I'm a Yankees fan, it was natural for me to wear a Yankees baseball cap. Being that we were right across the street from Fenway Park, it was my obligatory duty as a Yankees fan to take a picture of me rocking the cap. I of course I matched it with the classic "To Live Is To Fight" limited edition t-shirt that we released.

Branded Baron is 1 Year Old! Thank you everyone!

It's amazing how fast time flies. It's crazy how all the planning went into it before it finally was launched and now it is 1 year old. I remember all the meetings prepping for the official release, especially with Anthony and now the first year has past. Branded Baron is still a baby and still growing, but it's good to see the progress and see all the supporters out there. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all those who have supported. Seriously, all the people who helped out from buying shirts to blogging to helping me at events it's humbling. I know I missed some, but it doesn't mean I totally forgot about you. Everyone is important and the love shown is amazing. I plan on having this company grow much larger and in more stores. Be on the look out for more exclusive shirts popping up in certain times throughout the year. Thank you everyone for the first year. A lot of lessons were learned from mistakes and as president of this company I'm going to try and make sure the entire operation gets to as close to perfect as possible, because you deserve the best. It was a dream to provide the public with great art, apparel, prints, anything that represented Branded Baron and I'm glad people appreciate it. The journey is only beginning, since we tasted what to expect in this business and I have to make sure that we rise to the top. Spread the word about Branded Baron. We're a brand for the people and I want to provide excellent products for everyone. Not everyone will have the same taste, but being stunningly fresh doesn't mean we have to be the same. As long as the mindset is positive and the shirts we provide are on point, than we can feel good and aim for our goals. If we're surrounded by nothing, but mediocrity than we will get nothing but that. I do not want that and I will personally admit that some designs out there are absolute crap regardless if that's the company's demographic. We always need to be coming up with new and interesting designs and concepts, because life isn't boring so why should the clothes you wear be? There is an old quote "Vestis virum reddit" that translates into "The clothes make the man". We're all unique individuals that can express ourselves with a well thought out and cool design, even if it's simple. I make sure that what is released is something that you can wear, feel confident, stir up some conversation, and/or feel good to let people know this is who you are and what you like. It's a difficult task, but everyone who is behind the scenes at Branded Baron tries to accomplish that.

I look forward to the future of Branded Baron and would love to meet and speak with all those who support.

Absolutely and Positively Stay No Less Than Stunningly Fresh,

Joe

Event-White Train's "Space on White"

WhiteTrain.com is a new site dedicated to artists and an handful of brands where they showcase art and sell the art. It's a really a lifestyle site. You know what here is the info about them:

The White Train is a lifestyle website, which offers artists with similar style and taste the opportunity to showcase their work, and sell their products, as part of a larger movement of trailblazing creative’s striving to be at the forefront of artistic expression.

The website is set up into three main functions:
1) First, it is an ecommerce website where artists can sell their product (i.e. t-shirts, skateboards, bags, scarves, etc)
2) Second, it is an online gallery where artist could promote their art and at the same time have an opportunity to sell it.
3) Last, it is a networking platform where artist, buyers, investors and venues come together.

NOT AN ARTIST? Become a fan to stay informed of events, gallery openings, and the launch of The White Train online store.

So this Friday, I'll be there to celebrate their release of the ecommerce portion of their site and network. It'll be cool to hang out and have a good vibe. It'll be the pre-party you can say. Cristian and Maxine both are doing one hell of a great job putting this together and getting press and sponsors for this event. I see White Train doing really well, especially for the talented artists/brands out there. If you want to come out there and chit chat with me or Danette(almost 100% she'll be there) let's do it. I know there will be some shirts and posters available there from us. (Did I just say posters?) It should be a beautiful Friday, so let's have fun!

I've had a various women ask if this comes in a girl shirt and sadly it has not. Usually they would have to purchase a men's small, which is absolutely fine, but those sell out quick so not everyone can get it. There is a demand, but is the demand that strong? Well we are asking YOU all of our female customers and potential customers if you would like to see the Branded Baron Astrohop shirt printed on a female shirt.

Real Deal Radio & Jay Wise video

I know I should've uploaded this back when I was on Real Deal Radio, but here is the before, a bit of during the show, and after. It has Jay Wise kicking a verse and I surprise him with the camera while he's recording. It's entertaining and if you want to only watch Jay Wise rap, you can see that as well.

For some reason the quality of the Jay Wise solo video is better. I don't get it.

Hello from Montreal -Bike riding

Bonjour everyone! The reason for the lack of updates on the blog was I was in Montreal, Canada for the past couple of days and Anthony is chillin in L.A.. It was cool and fun. I'll explain more on my recap on Montreal in another post. Here are two videos that I recorded when I was up there. I should've made more, but I was having a good time.

It seems that bike riding is very common over there, because there were bunch of people riding through the city on bikes and there were a bunch of bikes available for the public to ride....with a price of course. It was about $5 for a half hour, so it wasn't bad. I thought having a car would be great, but my girlfriend and her brother decided we should ride bikes some times. It was fun definitely, but it was a pain when you're going up hill and anchoring and the person in front of you is going slow. It was a bit rough, but everytime I wore a nice tee I wanted to show off we rode the bike and I sweated. Be careful, because you don't want to get hit and most people ride without helmets and I prefer to ride with one on, but when you don't have one you just have to deal with it. It would be cool if there were public bicycles in New York City, but I think that would be chaotic and dangerous. I'm still shocked how those messengers don't get hit by cars in New York. Montreal was fun and the bike riding may have been tiring, it was enjoyable and got us to a bunch of places quicker, especially if we couldn't use the car. Bike on. lol

Paying for the bikes. Tiff was soo happy to ride the bikes and she's rocking the lion t-shirt.
Yes, I know I look like a dork in this photo.

Behind the scenes: Sketch for Red Baron concept

A Red Baron t-shirt was a must, especially since the name of the company has the word "baron" in it and I was glad we were able to release this design for the summer. The sketch shown was the original concept for the Red Baron tee. As you can see, it was basically identical as what you see on the shirt, except the shirt of course is more detailed. I wanted the design to be clean and not gritty, because Manfred von Richthofen was a fine tactical combat pilot. It was necessary to show the triplane and the original sketch didn't give a clear example. In the final result, you can see the plane diving down, which was a popular maneuver that was used by the Red Baron when he went to attack. I did not want a gritty pilot, especially since the Von Richtofen wasn't very rough in appearance according to the pictures available. I didn't want to the design to be in honor as well, but more of Branded Baron's "Red Baron". The plane, name of the design, and cross is where the resemblance ends. I wanted to have the crazy cartoon like missiles to give the design a bold and explosive feel. The style was influenced by street art and a certain video game. See if you can figure it out. I did make sure that they were original and that the illustrations were not copied from anywhere. I felt the target in the background fit very well, because fighter pilots have to be aces at what they do and hit their target. The border was to give it an alarmed and retro feel, with the top not closed, so you can see the pilot is coming down from the sky. The "Air Fresh" was removed, because it didn't fit and sounded more like a commercial airline. The design had to be fly, because the idea was "red baron" and what's another synonym for "cool", "fresh", "dope"? Fly. There were other ideas brought up and tried out for the design, but simply did not make the final design. I think the final result is fantastic and if you don't have one, I suggest you purchase it before they're gone.  There are some sizes that are no longer in stock and there will not be any reprints.
Purchase here:
http://www.brandedbaron.com/product/red-baron

I hoped you like the little glimpse of the Red Baron design. Red Baron was a baron for being the best pilot. Branded Baron we're out provide the best apparel for the people.

The BEAT GEEKS - NEW Sponsored Music Group

I'm proud to bring to you the newest music group to represent Branded Baron, THE BEAT GEEKS. Yes, I know the name is funny, but I'm telling you the music is good. If you like to party, I suggest you throw the music by the Beat Geeks on and shake what your momma gave ya. There style is a blend of electronic dance fused with some hip hop, r&b, and rock. There single "Sweat" is getting rotation on the airways all over the east coast and in some places overseas. I've personally had the song on repeat on my ipod. You can purchase the song "Sweat" on iTune(CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD) Trust me, listen to it over and over and watch this fun song grow on you. I'm telling you for $.99 cents it's worth listening to. When I think Atlanta, I don't think dance music, but wow the beat geeks have a very stunningly fresh sound. You can listen to more of them at http://www.thebeatgeeks.com or http://www.myspace.com/beatgeeksmusic

They'll be having a photoshoot live on ustream soon of them rocking the Branded Baron shirts. I think Jay Wise and The Beat Geeks would come up with some great tracks. Definitely check out The Beat Geeks, you'll be hearing more of them soon. THE BEAT GEEKS.

Branded Baron Photos of the Day

Last night, I hit up the bar/lounge "The Lott" formally known as "Porky's". It was good times for sure and my girl, my boy, and couple of my girlfriend's friends had the famous Fishbowl to drink from. I liked it and if you saw the tweets last night it was all about having a good time. My boy Alex was definitely looking stunningly fresh, because you know what he was rocking....a Branded Baron t-shirt. The Sorcerer Hands to be exact. http://www.brandedbaron.com/product/sorcerer-hands The best part was that it glows in the dark in the club. I'm so glad that I chose those colors, because originally they were going to be a bit different.

I took pictures with my crackberry, so they're not the greatest. I know Tiff took better pictures, so I'll upload a better picture if there's a better picture. Alex said something that made me think of an awesome shirt idea and I can't rush this bad boy, but what I have in mind is awesome. When you're out partying rock that Branded Baron tee. You don't have to ask if I wear one, my problem is which one do I wear.

Stay No Less Than Stunningly Fresh, but if you're partying it's ok to be No Less Than Stunninlgy Drunk. lol,

Joe

Jay Wise recording "Don't turn the lights on"

Check out the new video where Jay Wise is sporting the no longer printed Street Art Street Crime. Maybe we'll bring that back, but in a different colorway since that was a popular design. Watch as Jay records a new song for the Pre-Fresh in his home studio. I must say DAAAAAMN, he's addicted to sneakers and that's only a sample of what he owns.
