Criticize my Hustle by IL Lusciato

This month fellow rapper/producer/musician and Branded Baron supporter IL Lusciato is releasing new songs. This is second of his "Summer of Samples" series and I definitely like the beat. I always thought he had some good jazz sampled instrumentals and he raps over it talking about his hustle being criticized. He said, "This is for anyone is chasin their dreams hard as they can and has ppl always trying to "advise" you . . . tell em to do what you do then talk . . . REPOST if you relate to this esp my fellow hiphop crowd . ."

Definitely check it out the songs, since he'll be releasing it via youtube first at http://www.youtube.com/user/illusciato

Music Monday: Rapper Okwerdz & Rock band Tost wearing Branded Baron

Music Monday is in effect today! The west coast rapper Okwerdz uploaded a new video today of his chronicles in Stockholm with fellow rapper Dizaster. If you didn't know or haven't seen their video, they traveled over there for a 2 on 2 battle rap. That was a very entertaining battle, so check it out on his youtube page(youtube.com/okwerdz). He clearly shouts out Branded Baron while wearing the Stunningly Fresh t-shirt and he was interviewed for a Swedish television station rocking that. There are no more tees left, but the longsleeve version is available. If you want a Stunningly Fresh longsleeve go click here. Okwerdz has always been a cool down to earth guy, so follow him on twitter and like him on facebook, and check out the merch he has like his cd, "The Off Season Mixtape" at http://shop.okwerdz.com/

Now the other video I have for you today is by the band TOST. It's a video of them performing followed by an interview. So, most of you who follow Branded Baron mostly speak English, so if you're looking to understand what they're saying well you're like me when I first saw this video S.O.L. It's cool to see a performance and interview with the "To Live Is To Fight" t-shirt worn, but as a fan of music, I would've loved to know what they were saying. Like TOST on facebook and I have heard some songs by them in English. Either way music doesn't have to be a language barrier as long as the music touches the soul. Enjoy the video.

Okwerdz recap of the Homegrown Tour

The Fresh Coast emcee Okweezy aka Okwerdz was on tour recently and if you missed out, here's a video recap of the tour. You see Ok rocking the Branded Baron the "To live is to fight" t-shirt(http://www.brandedbaron.com/product/to-live-is-to-fight-light-green-shirt) There's performances, footage of randomness, interviews, and an overall view of Okwerdz. If you haven't bought his cd it's available on iTunes or maybe you can be lucky enough to receive it in your next Branded Baron order. Yes, that's right you could own it by only purchasing a shirt. Some people already have it and supplies are limited. Anyway check out the video, Okwerdz is a cool dude and has been grinding with his hip hop music for awhile.
